The decision is in. Max Smith is Kentucky’s starting QB, and there were quite a few people with things to say about Smith claiming the spot. The Kentucky Kernel captured the following coach and player reactions after practice the day of the announcement.

It seems the coaches handled the decision with wisdom and patience while the players are handling the aftermath with maturity and respect. It took a long time to accomplish, but one couldn’t ask for a better aftermath.
