Marcus Lee stands at a solid 6’9” 200lbs. and the native Californian may make a new home in Lexington, Kentucky. Lee is currently down to only two schools, California and Kentucky. Since Lee resides in California, many have thought that the Golden Bears are definitely the favorites to land the 2013 star. Lee is definitely a “project” player rather than an immediate superstar. He needs to add a little strength and fine tune his game before leaving college. Who else is better than Kentucky at molding young talent into NBA ready pros? Nobody.
With the recent addition of the Harrison twins, Lee was asked if their decision to become Wildcats has changed his status with Kentucky. Lee responded by saying he has played and worked out with the twins every year for the last 5 years at the John Lucas Summer Camp. He said he really enjoyed playing with the new Wildcats and could envision himself playing alongside them.
