UK sent out to Gary, IN; will face Kent State in opener

Cliff Hagen is not good enough to host, but the murder capitol of the world is….

The Kentucky Wildcats will open play in the NCAA Tournament in Gary, Indiana as Purdue will play host. Tournament play will begin on Friday and go through Monday if necessary.

(1) Purdue vs. (4) Valpo
(2) Kentucky vs. (3) Kent State

Many thought that Louisville and Kentucky would match up in Lexington first. After UK was not announced as host site, many thought they would still be matched up in Gary. But, instead the committee shipped the Cards all the way out to Arizona.

(1) Arizona vs. (4) Missouri
(2) New Mexico vs. (3) Louisville

It appears as if the committee relied way too much on RPI and I still have no clue how Miami is hosting, and got a No. 1 seed, over the Wildcats.

Anyways, we still march on and it’s time for the big dogs to eat.
