I still can’t believe this exists, or that I’m writing about it, but here it is. The following video, released today, features Joker Phillips playing bass in J.D. Shelburne’s “Farmboy”. Watch at your own risk.
It seems farmboys like J.D. Shelburne wear makeup, iron their hair, and don an inexplicable number of bracelets. Joker looks normal at least, but that doesn’t make up for appearing in this travesty. Not only is Kentucky in the bottom tier of the SEC when it comes to football, apparently Joker Phillips is in the bottom tier of the country music world too.
