Recruiting: Walker says Kentucky not interested

Chris Walker, a 2013 five-star forward, says Kentucky is currently not interested in him, but they are still in his top-10. Walker tweeted today that Calipari is currently not showing him the love.

“UK not interested in me so ill do the same when they get interested I will also,” Walker said via his twitter account @cwalkertime23.

Walker seems to definitely be interested in Kentucky, and also seems a bit upset that he is not on Kentucky’s radar at the moment. He’s a highly talented kid that uses his length and athleticism to get to the basket. He seems to be a guy that could fit well in the dribble-drive offense, but it remains to be seen if Kentucky will get in on him.

“UK in top ten not top 3,” Walker also said via his twitter. “Things can change as soon as they change.”

Kentucky is not even finished filling out their 2012 class, so it is likely that the Cats will show a little more love to Walker in the future.
