There have been near-constant concerns regarding Nerlens Noel’s reclassification and ability to play with the Wildcats in the 2012-2013 season, but all concerns can finally be put to rest. Nerlens Noel will be officially be joining his teammates in Lexington on August 19th, according to AOL SportingNews, and his presence will bring with it an unbelievable impact on the defensive end.
“It’s been tough, but I had to do what I had to do to take care of my classes this summer to finish reclassifying,” Noel told AOL SportingNews. “Now it’s done and I can focus on getting better and focus on Kentucky and focus on academics when I get down there.” Noel’s attitude is perfect, and he may yet be both the physical and attitudinal shining star in Kentucky’s new recruiting class.
“I’ve been talking to Calipari,” Noel told Rivals.com recently. “He just told me to be ready when I get there…”
I have the same words for Kentucky fans. Be ready when Nerlens Noel gets here, it’s going to be quite a show.
