Kyle Gettin’ Swole!

Like many of you, I was really interested in the new team picture that recently came out of the basketball team. The latest addition of Wildcats has a lot of brand new faces, names and numbers for us all to get used to. I’m sure we already know who they are and where they are from, because we are just crazy like that. The defending champions will have a lot of length and talent to battle with the rest of the SEC.

One thing that really jumped out at me was how big Kyle Wiltjer looks in the picture. Kyle looks like he’s really been hitting the gym and working on adding weight to that 6’8” frame. Head coach John Calipari said last year to watch out for Kyle if he was able to build up a strong lower body to battle down low at the collegian level. The kid is looking like a Strait up beast.

The video below is a minute long clip of Kyle at the 2012 Adidas Nations Camp. You see he hasn’t lost a step when it comes to driving down the lane, hitting that hook shot, and spotting up for the three ball. The most impressive thing that I saw was Kyle having the ability to bang bodies down low and make space to get his shot. Great things to come from Kyle and the latest addition of Wildcats. Go Big Blue!
