Jones continues to shine in NBA Summer League

In yesterday’s 99-88 win over the Trail Blazers, the Rockets’ Terrence Jones continued to impress. He scored 24 points in 30 minutes of play, while pulling in 12 rebounds and dishing out the three assists. He was 11-20 from the floor. He is averaging 18.5 points and 8.5 boards in their four games (3-1). Josh Harrellson did not play.

The Rockets have some really talented young players in Jones, Royce White, Jeremy Lamb, and Scott Machado and should be very excited about their future.  They play Marquis Teague’s Bulls today at 6 p.m.

Speaking of the Bulls, they made their Summer League debut last night and so did Teague. To say he struggled would be to put it lightly. He played 31 minutes, scoring eight points on 4-17 shooting and only dished out one assist. He had five fouls and six turnovers. The Bulls lost to the Celtics, 79-74.
