Are the Harrison twins divided?

Harrison1 Are the Harrison twins divided?

A source close to the recruiting situation of Aaron and Andrew Harrison says that the twins and their father are divided between schools. Their father, Aaron Harrison Sr. reportedly wants his boys to attend the University of Maryland. The boys have been to Maryland many times and are very familiar with the area because they have family located in the Baltimore area. Their dad also has a long standing relationship with head coach Mark Turgeon.

Aaron & Andrew are reportedly leaning the other way, wanting to sign with the Kentucky Wildcats. During the entire recruiting process, their father has always said they will be able to make the decision that they want the most. Their father has said he will not even hold them to their original announcement date of Oct. 29th, allowing the boys to add time or commit sooner.

According to the nature of how Aaron Harrison Sr. has handled the recruitment of his sons, I believe that the twins will ultimately make their own decision where they will play their college basketball. A later report has their father adamantly denying that he and his sons are divided with the decision at hand. I firmly believe that Kentucky looks to be in prime position to land these coveted recruits. The twins should be wearing matching blue uniforms for the fall of 2013.
