Details on the alumni game

As Kentucky basketball’s list of former players continues to grow in both number and stardom, the desire to watch all the past Wildcats compete together has become enormous. To meet the demand, an alumni game set in Rupp Arena was announced a few weeks ago, and details on obtaining tickets are now available.
Tickets for the game go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 31st. All seats will be reserved with prices set at $100 for premium lower level spots, $40 for lower level seats, and $20 for upper level spaces. The proceeds will be going to charity, and the tickets will be available at the Rupp Arena box office and through Ticketmaster.com.
Since the game is only set to feature currently active professionals, it’s sure to be a star-studded event that’s well worth the cost of admission. It will practically be an NBA All-Star game, with the likes of John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Brandon Knight, Tayshaun Prince, Chuck Hayes and more. The official list of participating athletes has yet to be released, but Calipari will almost certainly assemble a strong roster and put on a great event.
