Darius Miller has been selected by the New Orleans Hornets with the 16th pick of the second round (46th overall pick) in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Darius Miller will be joining number one overall pick and former Wildcat Anthony Davis in New Orleans. It’s rare to see two Kentucky players on the same NBA team, and the likely Davis-Miller combination in the league next year will bring a smile to the faces of many fans. Miller’s pick sets another record for Kentucky, marking the first time ever six players from one team have been selected in the NBA Draft. Darius’ has lasted through many challenges over the years, and seeing his name on the draft board is a wonderful thing.
