Brandon Knight finishes 7th in Rookie of Year voting

As many predicted at the beginning of the season, Cleveland Caveliers Kyrie Irving was selected as the 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year. The overall No. 1 draft pick averaged 18.5 points per game and received 117 of the 120 first place votes.
Brandon Knight finished seventh and former Morehead State standout Kenneth Faried finished third.
