Anthony Davis has been selected with the 1st overall pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Hornets.
It was all but guaranteed that Davis would be picked first overall. This makes him only the second Kentucky player ever selected with the first pick of the draft, joining John Wall in that elite standing. Davis should completely alter the face of the Hornets franchise and become a key player almost immediately.
